Here are the resources for today’s lessons. For an overview of the day and the lessons, have a look at this week’s home learning timetable.
Maths – introduction to prime numbers
Today, the video talks you through an interactive activity to investigate what ‘prime numbers’ are. You’ll have to follow the instructions and pause the video when asked.
You’ll need to draw a 100-square in your book (or you can download one here).
Reading – predictions
Predictings can be as simple as asking the question, ‘What do you think is going to happen next?’, quickly followed with, ‘Why?’ However, to be able to predict, you need to be able to read and understand what has happened, and is currently happening. You need to be able to retrieve and infer (find the clues), combine this with your knowledge of the world and make a sensible prediction of what will happen next.
